Of all the things amazing I learned from working with Dick, this is one that really has stuck. Engage ’em (but don’t marry’em) is a visual that sticks when teaching Zone Attack, attacking traps, creating space, setting up teammates, etc. Great advice for players and coaches alike!
Hi Coach Czes, I agree that how all of this is taught is much of what makes it so special. All teaching tools that PGC Basketball uses help players learn how to play the game and give them strategies to remember that stuff easily, like schape, manure strip, pee-dribbles ect. Thank you Coach Czes!
Yes! Pee Dribbles and Schaping practice are 2 more staple terms in our teaching! It is truly amazing how often we use ‘Stuff’ from Dick and PGC. Keep up the great work with the site!
That is great to hear, thank you so much for taking the time to share that!
